About Us

Welcome to the Hallmark Development Center. This unit and its programs
are located within the Northampton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
The center is located in a residential area of Northampton, convenient
to Interstate 91, public transportation, university and colleges,
medical facilities, parks and recreation areas. Hallmark is a 41-bed
unit, providing comprehensive programming, services, support, and
guidance for families coping with the stress and confusion surrounding
the needs of complex children and young adults. It is a warm and
friendly home-like setting to children and young adults with fragile
medical conditions or those needing short-term rehabilitation. The
children and young adults receive skilled nursing care integrated
with educational programs, recreation activities and rehabilitation
services. We want to assist each family in designing a developmental
plan, with their vision for their child’s future, which will assist
the child in reaching his/her maximum potential.
